Former “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria has hoisted what listing descriptions call a “classic 1924 mediterranean villa” perched on a high point just south of the Hollywood Bowl in the historic foothills above Hollywood up for sale on the open market with a $1,395,000 price tag. Property records and other online resources show politically engaged actress — she spoke forcefully against Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump at the Democratic National Convention last week — purchased the property in January 2005 for $1,150,000 and current listings show the fancifully articulated Italianate house “oozes character and charm” with three bedrooms and three bathrooms in 2,011 square feet.
