Smokey Robinson Launches Skin Care Line, “Skinphonic” For People Of Color

Skinphonic Is Formulated For Pigmented Skin
He is known for his ageless good looks as much as his signature voice.
And now Motown icon William “Smokey” Robinson is sharing the secret to his still handsome face. Robinson and his wife, Frances, have created a new skin care line, Skinphonic, designed to revitalize skin of color and repair hyperpigmentation.
And the “Cruisin” crooner told BOSSIP after spending time in the sun and a grueling touring schedule for more than 50 years, he and his wife had had problems with their complexions, and couldn’t find anything to fix their skin.

“After years of trying to repair our self-inflicted damage, we realized there was nothing that met our specific needs, especially for pigmented skin,” Robinson told us. “We decided to partner with some of the best scientists and doctors in the country to help us create something that would actually work for hyperpigmentation and our skin type. We loved the results so much that we decided to introduce Skinphonic to the world.”
The brand features a line for women, “My Girl,” as well as “Get Ready” line for men. Each kit contains a cleanser, moisturizer and evening treatment complex. Robinson said in clinical trials, 96 percent of participants reported positive results.

“Using all three everyday will definitely bring back skin’s harmony,” Robinson said. “It has for Frances and I!”
The veteran soul singer credited Skinphonic and his vegan lifestyle for him looking and feeling the best he has in years.
“I honestly feel better now than when I was 30,” he said.
We’re giving away four pairs of the Skinphonic men and women’s kits. Just tweet @Bossip your favorite Smokey Robinson song. Good luck!
