Kicker’s Wife Posts Racist Tweet About Richard Sherman After Controversial No-Call

Last night on Monday Night Football, Richard Sherman became the source of controversy after a “dirty play” on Bills kicker Dan Carpenter.

Bills coach Rex Ryan hurled more than a few curse words at the refs, and Sherman, when the Seahawks baller wasn’t flagged running into the kicker, but the kicker’s wife is the one who really crossed the line.

Kaela Carpenter took to Twitter to post the above photo and caption intimating that she’d like to castrate Sherman for giving her hubby the biz. The threat of violence notwithstanding, the castration of black men has a extremely offensive historical context. Similarly, the comparison of Sherman to an “animal” is also a long-standing slur volleyed at black men, especially athletes.
