Alicia Keys Song Lyrics Revive Old Gay Rumors
So… Alicia Keys recently performed on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” with openly gay female rapper Young M.A.. That coupled with the some song lyrics off “Where Do We Begin Now” from her new album HERE revived old rumors that Alicia is a lady lover.
The specific lyrics on the song — in cased you missed them are:
1st verse:
“What they gon do ’cause we the same sex?/ And we spendin’ all this time/ This could be the love we ain’t made yet/ Even though it’s on my mind/ We ain’t even had the conversation/ But do you wanna testify?”
2nd verse:

Of course all this testifying had some folks thinking maybe Alicia was fessing up for real…
But y’all know THAT wasn’t about to happen!
A source close to Keys exclusively old Gossip Cop, “It’s not autobiographical,” and explained that Alicia was simply “referencing friends of hers who have shared their stories with her.”
