Teen To Serve 13 Years For Pimpin’ Out Underaged Social Media Prostitutes
An 18-year-old girl is about to spend the next 13 years of her life in prison for pimping out a group of younger teens for sex in exchange for money. Jelinajane Bedrijo Almario was popped over a year ago for manipulating a group of 4 younger teens and using the internet to find men to pay for their sex.
Her sentence came just 2 days after her 18th birthday.
According to SacBee.com reports, at 16, Jelinajane Bedrijo Almario began posting pictures of the younger girls on different websites for prostitution, then taking the girls to motels to perform sex acts. Although she was just a teen, she was tried as an adult for human trafficking. She was also popped for sending threatening emails to a family member of at least one of the girls who called her in hopes to get in touch with her family member. They say Almario began making terrorist threats.
Detective Richard Pontecorvo who wsa following the case, says the young lady was great at targeting girls to pimp off of social media with “low self-esteem”.
