Last night, during the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards, Cardi took a moment to rail against anyone who tries to disavow, discount, denigrate, disparage or demonize brotha Colin Kaepernick’s efforts to get justice and equality for Black people.
That’s right, she said it, lil’ b!tche$.
As if we needed another reason to champion Cardi on her rise to glory. She told America, in her own uncompromised Bronx bodega way, that we will NOT go silently sheet-caking into the night. We’re gonna be loud, aggressive and unwavering in lifting our voices to say “THIS SH!T AIN’T RIGHT!”
