Celebs Attend Atlanta Black Gay Pride

A number of celebs flooded Atlanta this Labor Day weekend for Atlanta Black Gay Pride.

The country’s leading LGBTQ pride weekend marked its 21st-year celebration with a roaring line-up that included the 6th annual Pure Heat Community Festival with appearances from Todrick Hall…

comedians La La Siza Hands and Blame It On Kway…

and Sevyn Streeter who received the 2017 Humanitarian Award.

Transgender actress [“Star” on Fox] and model Amiyah Scott made her festival debut as she received the Legacy Award and additional honorees included Atlanta’s own black gay icon Niesha Dupree presented by actor and model Miss Lawrence.

Trina Braxton was also in attendance.

For the nighttime festivities, Lil Kim rocked the crowd…

as well as Keyshia Cole…

and KeKe Palmer.

A portion of proceeds from the weekend’s festivities will be used to benefit homeless LGBT youth and those infected/affected with HIV/AIDS via The Vision Community Foundation. The 2017 Atlanta Black Gay Pride took on a special meaning this year as many patrons mourned the recent loss of Atlanta’s own transgender woman, Miss Troy “Tee Tee” Dangerfield.
