People Can’t Contain Their Excitement When Rihanna Raps
Twitter turned on its head when N.E.R.D. dropped their first song in 7 years, especially because the track features Rihanna–and not just our everyday singing Rih, she’s rapping. When Rihanna does anything, her fans online make it seem like she’s just ended world hunger, but we can’t really blame them, because you know, it’s Rihanna. After months of drama between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj and fans plotting against each other to see who raps better, it’s definitely entertaining to add another popular woman into the mix even though this is just a one-off verse.

Twitter is all about exaggeration, and that’s what happened when “LEMON” dropped for the world to hear. It was discovered that Rihanna and Pharrell’s IG captions from 2 years ago are actually excerpts from Ms. Fenty’s verse on this track, which made everyone even more intrigued.
