Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Announce Their Engagement
It’s official, Meghan Markle is joining the royal family. The “Suits” actress and Prince Harry got engaged earlier this month and Kensington Palace announced it Monday in a statement.
The wedding will take place in spring 2018. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (Prince William and Duchess Kate have expressed their joy over the couple’s engagement.
Meghan and Harry have been dating since July 2016. This marks the first time a direct heir to the throne has been set to wed an American since King Edward VIII abdicated his throne to marry Wallis Simpson in 1937.
