White Teen Kills His Black Stepdad Over House Chores?

A white teenage allegedly stabbed his stepfather of 14 years to death and then recorded a video on snapchat confessing, as the mad bled to death. Nickolas Vinson was allegedly upset with his 50-year-old stepfather, Oscar Lemar Owensby, because he thought he was going to kick him out the house according to Denver Post reports.

Vinson told police he had been arguing with his stepfather in a series of text messages. Owensby wanted him to do chores around the house and chip in money for the household, the affidavit says.

“Hey guys I just killed him. I just killed him. I just killed him,” the teen recorded and posted to snapchat as his mother was reportedly seen kneeling next to the man in the clip was screaming, “Lemar, can you hear me? Can you hear me? No!” According to the Denver Post, Owensby was the common-law spouse of Celena Vinson, the woman seen kneeling in the Snapchat video. She is the biological mother of Nick and his 15-year-old brother, Kyle.

The Vinsons had lived with Owensby for 14 years. Vinson allegedly used a 7-inch blade with a brass-knuckle-style handle to stab Owensby between seven and nine times in the neck, back, side and left shoulder, the affidavit says. The teenager has been charged with first-degree murder.
