Rapper Sells Home To Atlanta Political Candidate Torrey Tomlinson

2 Chainz has unloaded a suburban hideaway that he bought as his star began to rise for a more than $30,000 loss to an aspiring Atlanta-area politician and his wife, BOSSIP has learned.

Last month, 2 Chainz agreed to sell his modest Clayton County, Ga. home – which boasts a deck, a view of the neighborhood lake and a large private backyard – to Torrey and Tiffany Tomlinson for $145,000 – $32,000 less than what he paid for the country pile when he bought it back in 2004.

Tomilson told BOSSIP that he had no idea that the house he wanted for his family was owned by the trap rapper.

“We were house hunting and these were one of the houses,” Tomlinson said. “It’s a small world, but i do know him. It was ironic that was it was his house.”

Tomlinson said 2 Chainz was so keen to make the sale that when his realtor missed the original closing date, he pressed her to make it happen.

“She missed the first closing date and we called him and he got her on it,” Tomlinson, who last year ran for South Fulton’s city council.

2 Chainz, whose real name is Tauheed Epps, bought the five-bedroom 2.5 bath bachelor pad for $177,000 when he was just starting his rise to fame back in in 2004, according to public records.

The rapper has moved on from the home to a $2.5 million L.A. pad he purchased in 2016, according to public records.
