2 Chainz Is Upset Over The Governor’s Ball Lineup
Every year when festival season rolls around, it seems like a new lineup hits the internet pretty much every single day. Because festivals have hundreds of performers over the span of a weekend, organizers make the names on the lineup announcement posters easier for people to read by making the most successful/popular artists the biggest, and sticking the lesser known acts with a smaller font toward the bottom of the poster.
Governor’s Ball released their 2018 lineup on Wednesday to mixed reviews, but someone who was most definitely peeved with announcement was 2 Chainz. Anyone who’s familiar with music and who Chainz is would probably expect him to be included on any festival lineup pretty close up their with headliners, but the Randall’s Island fest put the hip-hop veteran 8 rows down on the poster. He made an Instagram post saying that whoever designed the flyer needs to redo it ASAP.

Whoever did this flyer need to do it over !!! No capp !! I put in to much work to settle !! I ain't goin for the buddy buddy Shit this year give me miness!!! #prettygirlsliketrapmusic platinum #4am platinum #gooddrank platinum #vibes platinum #bigamount platinum !! Numbers don't lie and neither do I !!!!
With newcomers like DRAM, 6lack, Russ, Khalid, and Lil Uzi Vert miles ahead of 2 Chainz on the lineup, the “Good Drank” rapper wasn’t the only one confused by how the festival disrespected him with that poster placement. Chainz has been jumping out the window lately calling people out for taking his verses off songs, and now it seems pretty obvious that Tity Boi has a pretty big chip on his shoulder–but we don’t blame him.
Gov Ball, put some respect on 2 Chainz’s name.
