Idris Elba sent Twitter into a tizzy today with an announcement about the 2018 Essence Music Festival. Idris announced that he’ll be at the New Orleans based festival presumably under his Big Driis DJ moniker in a (since-deleted) tweet.
The headliner this year will be Janet Jackson and other performers include Mary J. Blige, Miguel, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Xscape and Snoop Dogg.
