Adrien Broner Arrested For Sexual Assault In Atlanta
According to reports from TMZ Sports, former boxing champion Adrien Broner was arrested in Atlanta on Monday night for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at a local shopping mall. Officials told the publication that cops were called to the Lenox Square shopping center, where a woman told police that Broner had apparently, “inappropriately groped her.”
Broner denied the allegations entirely, but following an interview with the cops, they believed that there was indeed enough evidence to arrest him for misdemeanor sexual battery. The 28-year-old was transported to Fulton County Jail without incident.
The former boxing champion is scheduled to face a judge around 9 AM local time. BSO is reporting the incident took place in front of a Louis Vuitton store.
If you’ve ever heard the named Adrien Broner before, you probably know that this is far from the first time that he’s been arrested for some violence. Broner has had numerous issues outside of the ring over the years, including a September incident where he punched a man in the face on the Vegas strip. Floyd Mayweather reportedly tried to step in and mentor him back in 2017, but as of now, that doesn’t seem to be going to well.
