Tyler Perry’s Old House is Now Pharrell’s New Digs

Pharrell Williams just snatched up a brand new pad from a fellow wealthy celebrity, Tyler Perry. The award-winning musician copped his new crib for a whopping $15.6 million.

According to reports from Variety, Williams is now the proud owner of the contemporary mansion, residing in the mountains between Beverly Hills and Sherman Oaks, California. The space is a modest 10-bedroom, 11-bathroom home, and was originally purchased by Perry just last year for $14.5 million.

The home was originally built back in 1992, and stands at 17,475 square feet. This not-so-humble abode isn’t Pharrell’s only house, either–he also owns a $7.14 million house in the Hollywood Hills and a 9,100-square-foot mansion in Virginia Beach, which he bought back in 2001 for $1.85 million.

As for Tyler Perry, he still owns a 20,000-plus square-foot masterpiece above Coldwater Canyon in Beverly Hills. He’s also building an even larger mansion on a 1,100-acre tract nearly 20 miles outside of downtown Atlanta–where he’s already laid down a landing strip from which to fly his collection of high-end-model planes. WEALTH.
