Charlagmagne tha God is hot on the promo trail for his new book Shook One: Anxiety Playing Tricks On Me. He recently sat down with Bishop T.D. Jakes to talk about the importance of mental health and why it is still so taboo amongst people of color.
Speaking on the book Bishop T.D. said “I’ve never read a book where the author was so transparent”, Charlamagne then spoke about how he has become more vulnerable, “I think going to therapy the past couple years has made me vulnerable, or maybe it’s not even therapy, maybe its the fact of turning 40 this year, being the father of 3 young girls, being married, life has made me more vulnerable”.
Later, the discussion turns to social media and the way people are suffering because of the pressure to be hot on the internet.
