Witnesses Testify Against Cop Who Killed Antwon Rose
It’s sickening how ready these cops are to put bullets in Black bodies.
A witness has come forward to say that he saw East Pittsburgh police officer Michael Rosfeld standing over Antwon Rose‘s body saying “I don’t know why I shot him. I don’t know why I fired” according to CBSNews.
The witnessing neighbor, John Leach, says that he was on his porch smoking and saw the entire incident that ended in Rose’s death. Reports say that there were audible gasps during his testimony on the second day of officer Rosfeld’s trial in Pittsburgh.
Leach said later, he saw other officers consoling Rosfeld as he was crying, bent over and hyperventilating. Rosfeld, he said, looked as if he was about to pass out.
Leach said he saw Rosfeld pointing a gun at Rose while at least one of Rose’s hands was in the air. Then Rose turned and ran, he said.
Defense attorney’s for Rosfeld argue that the teenager was complicit in the drive-by shooting and that when he pulled over the illegal taxi that Antwon was riding in and had an empty clip in his pocket when he was killed. Problem is, how the hell would the cop know any of that when he decided to kill the boy?!? Makes zero sense.
Rosfeld is facing criminal homicide charges for Rose’s death. We hope they throw a library at him.
