Melii Says Meek Mill Was Trying To Smash & Call Her Crazy So She Left Dreamchasers Label

Buzzing songwriter-artist Melii has responded after Meek Mill classified her as “corny” on Instagram. But Melii says the departure was sparked a few weeks ago when she tried to communicate with Meek and she felt “uncomfortable”.

Melii, 21, was featured on Meek Mill’s album and recent tour but abruptly stopped touring earlier this month. According to Melii, on tour, some type of disagreement between them went down and Meek stopped her from performing in her hometown of NYC, causing her to QUIT. Fast forward, she’s signed with a different team.

When Meek Mill called her “corny” publicly, Melii defended herself in an allegedly screenshotted comment when a fan asked her why they were beefing. In an allegedly deleted comment, Melii seemed to reveal that the Dreamchasers boss is angry she signed to One Umbrella — because she wouldn’t let him smash.

We have no idea if the comment was real, but she did offer a lengthy explanation in her Instastory that we can confirm.

“I AINT WANNA F-CK HIM. HE KEPT SAYING I WAS ACTING BOUJEEE THAT I WAS ANOTHER NICKI MINAJ AND WHEN ID SPEAK UO [sic] FOR MYSELF HE WOULD CALL ME CRAZY,”

Melii has explained her Dreamchasers exit differently in her IG stories. According to her statement, the situation with Meek made her feel “uncomfortable”.

Not once have I bashed Meek or ever plan on doing so. I got off tour because of a lot of behind the scenes things that were happening to me. I made sure to go out my way to do things that can help me stay with the team cuz I genuinely wanted to be apart [sic] of the family but it just didn’t work out. It was addressed [and] I tried to hold a conversation. That wasn’t an option that was given to me so I moved on [and] got offered support from another team. I never intended to snake anyone. If anything I tried to my best to work around many things that put me in uncomfortable situations. As a woman a lot of things I stood for weren’t there so I took the high road [and] gracefully removed myself.

Fans are in disbelief that the top comment was actually from Melli. Neither Melii nor Meek have addressed the “deleted” comment.
