Oklahoma Democratic Party Headquarters Vandalized
Police are searching for a possible suspect in Oklahoma. Who abhorrently spread racist rhetoric on the headquarters of a respected building. USA Today reports that the headquarters of the Oklahoma Democratic Party ware vandalized with Nazi graffiti and racist messages on Thursday.
The graffiti included swastikas and racial slurs spray-painted on the building and nearby sidewalk.
“The Oklahoma Democratic Party is devastated by the recent hate crime attack at our Headquarters this morning,” said the party in a statement. “We appreciate the outpouring of support for this cowardly act as the community comes together to denounce hate and bigotry.”
USA Today reports that police are trying to identify a woman wanted for questioning in connection with the vandalism.
A community cleanup was hosted to remove the graffiti this week.
