Kim Kardashian & Her Legal Team Helped Free An Inmate Serving Life Sentence For Low-Level Drug Offense
According to TMZ, Kim Kardashian and her legal team have helped free a Florida inmate serving a life sentence for a low-level drug offense.
Kim made the announcement via social media Friday, saying a prisoner named Jeffrey was walking free and reunited with his family after serving a whole 22 years of a life sentence.
Kim gave a special thanks to one of her attorneys, Brittany K. Barnett, for helping get Jeffrey his freedom.
Kim keeps adding to a short list of prison reform initiatives, such as helping Tennessee inmate Cyntoia Brown secure clemency, and helping free Alice Marie Johnson and Matthew Charles as well as considering putting effort into getting Max B released. She recently mentioned that she had her eyes set on becoming a lawyer and tackling cases like these full-time.
