Diana Ross is speaking her mind against the Transportation Security Administration after what she described as an intrusive pat-down at the airport.

The superstar was coming from an lively performance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival over the weekend. However, when she reached the airport to leave the city, her spirits came all the way down.

In a tweet she posted on Sunday, Ms. Ross wrote, “OK so on one hand I’m treated like royalty in New Orleans and at the airport I was treated like sh**.”

She continued, “Let me be clear, not the people of Delta BUT TSA , was over the top!! Makes me want to cry!!!”

In another tweet, Ross elaborated:

“It’s not what was done but how. I am feeling violated – I still feel her hands between my legs, front and back ( saying to me it’s her job) WOW!! Really mixed emotions – I always like to see the good things but not feeling good right now.”

Ross immediately received an outpour of support in her comments section. People who had similar experiences shared their story and some were shocked that such an icon like Ross experienced the same treatment.

Ross eventually seemed to calm down from the experience by sharing a clip of her singing “Stop! In The Name of Love” to a field of fans at the Jazz & Heritage Festival. She captioned the video, “I’m feeling better, it took a minute.”

Meanwhile, the TSA said they were looking into the whole incident. “TSA is committed to ensuring all travelers are treated with respect and courtesy,” agency spokesman Mark Howell told The New Orleans Advocate. “TSA is aware of concerns presented by Diana Ross about her screening experience at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport this morning.”

The statement argued that the officers on the internal video appeared to have followed proper protocol, however, Howell assured, “TSA leadership will continue to investigate the matter further.” He continued, “We encourage Ms. Ross to reach out to TSA so we can work with her directly to address her concerns.”

On Monday, Ross seemed to address the situation further by tweeting, “We are so blessed to have the security that we have at the airports and in our country- this I know And I appreciate it ‘TOTALLY.'”

She continued, “Thank you to all those good and loving people that take care of me and us thank you thank you thank you.”

Guess Ms. Ross has forgiveness in her heart?

Power to you pop queen!
