Linda Fairstein Faces Backlash Following ‘When They See Us’
If you’re not up-to-speed on the “Central Park 5” or haven’t seen Ava Duvernay’s Netflix series #WhenTheySeeUs then the name Linda Fairstein might not ring a bell. Allow us to introduce you to this mayo devil.
Fairstein was the head of the Manhattan D.A.’s Sex Crimes Unit in 1989 and pushed VIOLENTLY for the conviction of five innocent Black boys for the rape and assault of Trisha Meili. She’s a true piece of s#!t.
Fairstein’s name is forever burned into the consciousness of the community now that #WhenTheySeeUs has taken root in the social media conversation over the past few days and people are on her NECK with the hashtag #CancelLindaFairstein.
According to TMZ, many who work at the non-profit group that Fairstein sits on the board of, Safe Horizon, are ready to cancel her punk a$$ after 20 years of service under their noses. On May 21 the CEO held a meeting informing the board of the Ava’s series and Fairstein’s role in the conviction of Korey Wise, Kevin Richardson, Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana, and Antron McCray.
Suffice to say the staffers and board members are PISSED that Fairstein was even allowed to step foot in the organization with her track record. Reports state that if the CEO won’t oust this vile wench then the staff will take legal steps to have her removed.
Says Raymond Santana: “Even if it’s 30 years later, she has to pay for her crime.”
Church. Bish be gone.
