The world is still rocking from the news that Megan Thee Stallion was shot over the weekend. What was originally reported as her stepping on glass turned out to be a gunshot wound. Reports were swirling that Tory Lanez pulled the trigger but now they are saying that it was intentional.

TMZ had the scoop:

Tory Lanez allegedly opened fire on Megan Thee Stallion early Sunday morning after arguing with her and her friend … according to sources directly connected to the investigation.

We’re told the argument started after the group left a Hollywood Hills party together in the chauffeur-driven SUV, and at some point, Megan and her friend, Kelsey Nicole, wanted out of the vehicle.

Our sources say Tory opened fire from inside the vehicle, and allegedly hit Meg in the feet twice. TMZ broke the story … LAPD pulled over Tory’s ride a short time later. Megan’s feet were clearly bleeding on the sidewalk as she followed police instructions to exit the vehicle.

Sadly, Megan joins a list of other celebrities who have been shot but thankfully, like these people, she survived. Hit the flip to see more.

50 Cent – He famously got shot nine times, almost died and bounced back with a better career and rejuvenated jumping off point. He even made a movie about it. Here’s what he said about it:

“When you get hurt as bad as I did, you become afraid of everything because you know anything can happen at any time. I got shot in the afternoon, broad daylight. So I got scared, and that made me harder than I was before. The only time I was comfortable was when I didn’t care. So I just said – f**k it.

“When you have the pistol and you’re looking for them, your attention is shifted. You’re not afraid anymore. You’re like, ‘I hope that is them coming up the block now.’ “

Lil Wayne – He shot himself when he was 12 years old and was saved by a police officer, which is one of the reasons he’s so pro-police right now.

Here’s what he rapped on “All Works Out” “I found my mama’s pistol where she always hide it / I cry, put it to my head and thought about it / Nobody was home to stop me, so I called my auntie / Hung up, then put the gun up to my heart and pondered / Too much was on my conscience to be smart about it / Too torn apart about it, I aim where my heart was pounding / I shot it, and I woke up with blood all around me / It’s mine, I didn’t die, but as I was dying / God came to my side, and we talked about it / He sold me another life, and he made a prophet.”

Isaiah Washington – The former Grey’s Anatomy star and current internet weirdo was shot when he was a teen and ended up in the hospital.

Suge Knight – He got shot at a VMA part back in 2014:

Shots rang out at 1OAK nightclub in West Hollywood at around 1:30 AM Sunday … and Suge Knight was shot twice and taken to the hospital by ambulance where he was rushed into surgery … eyewitnesses and Suge’s family tell TMZ.

A source close to Suge tells us … he was shot in the stomach and arm and apparently in other places as well.

Tyson Beckford, Robert Ri’chard and Apple de Ap all tell TMZ … they were inside the pre-VMA party hosted by Chris Brown when they heard 4 shots ring out inside the club.

Suge walked out on his own power … a cop spotted him and walked the rap mogul to the police car where Suge sat. Suge was then put in an ambulance and taken to a local hospital.

Vanilla Ice – Back when he was running the streets as a teen, Ice got looped in with some gang activity and was shot.

Waka Flocka – He was shot and robbed in 2010 and lived to tell the tale.

“And Tuesday evening, the 23-year-old rapper was recovering after being shot earlier in the day during an apparent robbery.
Born Juaqin Malphurs, the rapper was washing his car at the Bubble Bath Car Wash at 5220 Old National Highway around 1:30 p.m. when he was approached by an armed man demanding Malphurs’ jewelry, police said.”

Fabolous – He got shot in the leg AND arrested in 2006. From MTV:

“Fabolous (born John Jackson) was shot once in the right thigh by an unidentified man who approached the MC and three members of his crew and opened fire shortly after the group left an NFL players’ event at Diddy’s downtown restaurant, Justin’s, according to New York Police Department spokesperson Sergeant Mike Wysokowski.

Following the hail of gunfire, Fabolous and the other three men hopped into a white Dodge Magnum and sped away, running a red light one block away from the scene of the shooting, which attracted the attention of police responding to the call of shots fired. Wysokowski said the officers stopped the car found two unlicensed, loaded guns — a 9mm and .40 caliber handgun — during a search, which led to the arrest of all four men. Charges have not yet been filed, but Wysokowski said they will likely include criminal possession of a weapon.

As police continue to search for the shooter, Fabolous was taken to a local hospital for treatment and was in stable condition. A Def Jam Records spokesperson could not be reached for comment at press time.”

Cam’ron – He was shot by someone trying to rob him. Cam drove away from the scene and everything. This was The Washington Post report when it happened:

New York hip-hop artist Cameron “Cam’ron” Giles, in the District for Howard University’s annual homecoming and a hot celebrity-studded party in town Saturday night, is not the kind of guy who lives out his violent lyrics.

He is nicknamed “Killa Cam,” but he’s known more for his flamboyance — for dripping in diamonds and wearing the color pink — than for beefs with other rappers.

Yet early yesterday morning, his art became life.

Giles, driving his royal blue 2006 Lamborghini and wearing what a friend later described as $200,000 worth of diamonds and other jewelry, was shot in both arms after stopping at a red light on New York Avenue NW, police said.

“I got shot three times and my album comes out Nov. 22,” Giles said as he left Howard University Hospital yesterday afternoon with an entourage of friends, fellow rappers and bodyguards. “We love Howard.”
