This week has been filled with interesting updates in the YSL Rico case. Gunna is once again a free man after taking an Alford plea deal in the case and while the internet has been conflicted over whether or not the rapper “snitched”, he’s moving and proclaiming that he has not cooperated with the prosecution.

“I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party int he case and have absolutely nO intention od being involved in the trial process in any way,” wrote Gunna, real name Sergio Kitchens, in a statement.

Prior to Gunna’s plea deal breaking the internet, YSL co-founder Walter Murphy quietly accepted a plea as well. Murphy was sentenced to 10 years behind bars with time served for the first year and nine years of probation. If he satisfies all of the conditions of the deal in the first five years he will be off probation and the sentence will be commuted, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution which also noted that if he’s ever called to trial he must “testify truthfully.”

“A special condition of probation is that Murphy ‘testify truthfully in any further trial as it may become necessary re: State of Georgia and the other individuals’ named in the indictment.
