Eminem Reveals His Real Recovery Happened After A Near Fatal Overdose “I Almost Died”
Eminem’s battle with drug addiction has been common knowledge for some time now, but as he prepares to release his album Recovery, Em only discussed the near-death drug overdose he experienced before seeking his real recovery. Pop the hood to watch an excerpt from his interview
In an interview with HLN, Eminem describes why he never admitted to having a drug problem until now:
When asked about the severity of his drug addiction, the Detroit bred emcee admits that it was very severe.
“Not to make this moment intense, but I almost died,” Em continued. “I was a couple of hours away from death, I overdosed and almost died.”
Damn Em, we’re glad you made it through! We’re already mourning too many dead rappers!!!
