Here we go with the political blame game! You gotta love how quickly the right-wingers like to forget how badly their buddy Bush screwed not only the U.S., but the global economy! How could just three years turn all these issues around? It took eight to make this mess!

The former Massachusetts governor officially announced his bid for the Oval Office on Thursday, ripping into President Obama for having “failed America.”

“A few years ago, Americans did something that was, actually, very much the sort of thing Americans like to do: We gave someone new a chance to lead, someone we hadn’t known for very long, who didn’t have much of a record but promised to lead us to a better place,” Romney said to a large crowd at a farm in Stratham, N.H

“Now, in the third year of his four-year term, we have more than promises and slogans to judge him by,” he added.

The 64-year-old Republican is among the front-runners in what critics say is a lackluster GOP field. He joins Newt Gingrich, Rep. Ron Paul, Herman Cain and Gary Johnson in officially announcing his candidacy.

He’ll also have to differentiate the health care bill he signed in Massachusetts, which critics – and Obama – have said is very similar to the sweeping national health care overhaul the President signed in 2010. He touched on the issue insisting his home state’s bill was a “state solution to a state problem.”

“Obama’s misery index has never been higher,” he said, insisting he’d turn the country around and vowed to repeal Obamacare.

“We gave someone new a chance to lead” … what does that mean? Wouldn’t he be “new” if he were to win also? Whatever the case, we’ll see how Romney does since he’s known for flip-flopping all over the place. Stay tuned!
