Thanks to the greedy bastards that run the NFL, they might not be able to work out the lockout situation until October, which would give the league enough time for five weeks of free agency, training camps and one preseason game. The NFL, unfortunately has made preparations for the possibility of not getting things worked out until then as they’ve got a plan in place for an eight week season. The least amount of time the league needs is three weeks of post-lockout work to get the season ready, so we could still have a season if the deal isn’t reached until early November.

If this were the case, we wouldn’t have the Super Bowl until February 15th. That actually works out for the men. If they get their women really nice Valentine’s gifts, then the ladies won’t bother their boos during the damn game. We might like this idea after all.
