Shawn Kemp Jr. is the eldest of at least seven kids 14 season NBA veteran Shawn Kemp fathered by at least six women… and he’s following in his pops footsteps on the court! Kemp Jr. has been on college scouts radar for the last few years — despite only beginning to play hoops in the 8th grade!

A few weeks ago the University of Washington announced that Jr. — who stands at 6’10 and weighs 265 lbs — will be playing for their Huskies basketball team in the upcoming season. Getting to college hoops has been a struggle for Kemp Jr., not because of his game but he previously announced plans to attend Auburn but was declared academically ineligible. Kemp has been hitting the books hard over the last two years — first attending Hargrave Military Academy for the 2009-2010 school year, then studying on his own.

Lets hope he’s also learned something from Daddy’s mistakes and won’t be spilling his seeds all over campus.

Shawn Kemp caught a really bad rep for making all them babies and not paying for them, but he has spent some time with Jr. — even inviting him to workout with him in recent years to help his ball skills.
