When we made part one of this list, we had no idea that some of you would have your biggest R&B dream come true this week.
Ciara dropped not one, but TWO new songs from her forthcoming project yesterday. And she’s not the only addition we could have made to our first list of questionable Hip-Hop and R&B comebacks. Luckily, this batch also includes a few more that we can actually co-sign.
Flip through and see who you can look forward to bumpin’ or clowning in 2012.
Ciara – Be Out
Swim
Thoughts?
Mario – The Walls feat. Fabolous
Ummm… This might could work…
Pleasure P – More
Umm… Is this what y’all like out of your R&B artists these days??
Kelis – Anything Like You
No, Kelis is still not making songs for us, so don’t get hyped… Is it just us, or does this track sound like a Target commercial waiting to happen?
Ruben Studdard – Rock Witcha feat. K. Michelle
As much as we can appreciate that Ruben needs to start stacking paper for the spousal support he’s going to have to pay, this right here?? Absolutely unnecessary.
Diamond (from Crime Mob) – Round Of Applause Remix

Jon B – Quality Time
Dear Jon: thank you SO MUCH for not making us have to talk about you.
Nicole Wray – Boomerang Theory
Now, a Nicole Wray comeback, we’re unopposed to. She definitely didn’t get enough time the first (and second) time around. Unfortunately, since this song’s been out since the summer, and we’re just now hearing it…
Mystikal – Original
Yeah… but no. This doesn’t really work all the way, no matter how much we would have wanted it to.
Nelly – Lotus Flower Bomb [Freestyle]
Sooooo…. he’s just determined to stick to this singing isht, huh???
Slick Rick – Need Some Bad
This though? Abso-friggin-lutely! We were skeptical when we heard this song existed. But you absolutely cannot go wrong with Slick Rick and DJ Premier.
