Queen Latifah’s Second Talk Show Gets Picked Up By CBS
Wonder if she’ll cover any LGBT-related issues?
If you don’t remember, Queen had her own talk show back in 1999. This new refresh is dubbed to be a better run though and has some serious backers.
According to Essence:
Queen Latifah’s talk show has been given the green light by CBS! The Queen Latifah Show is set to debut fall 2013 and will feature celebrity guests, comedy, pop culture, musical performances and more. The show will be executive produced by Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit and Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment. This is the actress’ second shot at day time TV.
With all of the talk shows out there, and some getting cancelled after two seasons (shout out to Anderson Cooper), will QL have what it takes to last??
