For some celebrity fathers, being a good dad means protecting your children by keeping them out of the limelight and away from the drama…so much so that we rarely even hear about their kids OR aren’t even aware that they have any.
It’s a fine line to tread, but these celebrity dads keep their kids under wraps for one reason or another. There’s even a certain Hot 97 Summer Jam 2013 performer on this list….and you might be surprised to know which one.
Jim Jones
He has a nine-year-old son that he says changed his life. Jim made sure to keep him far away from all things “Love & Hip Hop” though, cause there was hardly any mention of him on the show.
Joe Jackson
Most of Joe’s children lived their lives in front of cameras….with the exception of this one. She’s his 39-year-old daughter that he fathered with his mistress while still married to Katherine.
Charlie Sheen
Not only does Charlie Sheen have two daughters with Denise Richards and twin sons with Brooke Mueller, he also has a 29-year-old daughter by his high school girlfriend. 5 kids and three babymamas….is that still considered “winning?”
Joe Budden
Hot 97 Summer Jam 2013 performer Joe Budden has a son from a previous relationship (even before Tahiry) who is 10-years-old. He made a brief cameo on one of Joe’s now infamous “Joe Budden TV” videos back in the day, but we rarely hear about him now days except when the child support fairy comes to visit on occasion.
Matthew Knowles
Even though he tried to keep this child a secret for the duration of his mistress’ pregnancy, a paternity test proved back in 2010 that Beyonce does indeed have a little baby brother whose mother is not Tina Knowles.
Paul Walker
He has a 15-year-old daughter from a previous relationship that he’s actively involved in parenting, but he rarely talks about her or is photographed with her.
Jay-Z
The jury is still out on this one and will probably never come back in, but this former video model dropped a bombshell a couple of years ago when she surfaced shortly after claims that Hov fathered her son during a short fling they had hit the rumor mill hard. Neither of them have ever out-right denied it, and it was rumored that she was handsomely paid off to keep quiet. We’ll probably never know for sure.
