Kelly Rowland’s Ex Roy Williams Responds To Domestic Abuse Allegations

Earlier this morning, Kelly Rowland’s new single “Dirty Laundry” sparked some internet buzz surrounding the revealing song lyrics in which she admitted to suffering domestic violence abuse at the hands of one of her former lovers, among other things.

Upon hearing the track on which she didn’t actually mention her abuser’s name, a few folks assumed Ms. Kelly was accusing her ex-fiancee Roy Williams of puttin’ them paws on her, and he didn’t waste any time responding to the backlash:

In addition, the former NFL baller also went on to drop a big hint about exactly who Kelly was really referring to when she aired her dirty laundry. Peep who Roy points a not-so-subliminal finger at as the real person who dirty-dogged Kelly by putting his hands on her on page two…

Instagram

A Twitter follower tweeted Roy shortly after he cleared his name, letting him know that they were surprised that people were coming for him over Kelly’s revealing lyrics, and he was quick to agree..

Oooo-wee! Sounds like shots fired to us. Kelly reportedly dated Nelly’s former manager Cudda once upon a time, which is who Roy is referring to in this retweet.

However, this guy wasn’t the only one rumored to have given Kelly her kisses down low at one point or another over the years, so she could just as easily be referring to any one of them….if you believe they actually dated.

Hit the flip to peep the guys that were rumored to have given Ms. Kelly the bizness over the years and could in turn be the culprit she’s referring to in “Dirty Laundry,” including a pic of  this “Cudda” character mentioned above in Roy’s tweet….

Tim Weatherspoon
He is Kelly’s manager and the guy that’s most recently been linked to her.  Plus, they’ve even been seen out and about together looking a lot like a couple. That being said, we highly doubt it’s him since there’s a slim chance she’d still be getting abused and singing about it at the same time…

Maverick Carter
There was talk that he was coupled up with Ms. Rowland a while back. He manages Lebron James and is also rumored to be pals with Hov, so it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to believe that he was giving Kelly kisses down low at one point…..

Chris Brown
There was a short-lived rumor swirling around back in 2011 that he and Kelly were gettin’ it in on the low, but they of course claimed to be just friends….not that this rules him out since…well, you know. Moving on….

Nelly
It took forever for rumors of a romance between Kelly and her ‘Dilemma’ collabo partner Nelly to die down. They always chalked it up to nothing more than having great on-camera chemistry though. Plus, we don’t take Kelly for the ‘smash the homies’ type and if Roy’s implication about Nelly’s former manager is true, then this rules Nelly out altogether. Speaking of Nelly’s manager…

Cudda Love (pictured center)
This is an old photo posted by Mase’s alleged former bodyguard of the person Roy Williams so indiscreetly implied that Kelly is actually talking about in her song. He is affiliated with Fo Reel Entertainment and they reportedly dated years ago.

The Dream
Kelly and The Dream were photographed on what looked a lot like a double-date with Bey and hubby Hov earlier this year….and he does always speak pretty highly of Kelly. There was also word on the street that Jay-Z had been trying to hook them up for a while. However, while we all know he’s no stranger to dirty-dogging chicks, we haven’t ever heard of him putting his hands on anyone.

If you haven’t heard the song yet, you can listen to it for yourself HERE and see if you can figure out who Kelly is talking about
