Happy 50th birthday to the late Whitney Houston!

Female Artists Who Could Become The Next Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston had a record-breaking vocal ability and extraordinary talent that was legendary.

Though the last 5 or so years of her life saw much of the focus shift from her talent to her unfortunate battle with drugs and alcohol that took a toll on her once-angelic singing voice and eventually took her life, there’s no disputing that for much of her career, she was an artist in a lane all her own.

Her passing has undoubtedly left a void in the music industry that won’t soon be filled…..but are there any ladies in the game that even have a fair shot at making the mark on music that Whitney did?
