A Pennsylvania woman abandoned as a newborn in a Burger King bathroom is seeking her biological mother through Facebook — and more than 14,000 people have “shared” her quest.
Early September 15, 1986 workers opening an Allentown Burger King found a newborn Katheryn Deprill wailing on the floor, wrapped in a maroon sweatshirt and lying on a plastic bag, her umbilical cord still attached.
Her biological mother was never discovered despite detectives’ best efforts and loads of publicity about the Burger King Baby.
Deprill, 27, is married with three sons, The Morning Call reported. She’s ready to meet her mom.
“Looking for my birth mother … She abandoned me in the Burger King bathroom only hours old,” reads the message she posted to Facebook.
“Please help me find her by sharing my post. Maybe she will see this.”
Wouldn’t it be great karma if her ain’t isht mama was begging for change outside a Burger King?
