The woman in the photo appears to be a Toronto coffee shop owner named Luisa Duran who says she thinks of the "Hotline Bling" megastar "like a brother."
The Billboard Music Awards marked the return of slight normalcy to awards shows as it aired on Sunday, May 23. The ceremony took place outside the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
