Interesting article.

Oddly enough, the people closest to me in my life have always been male. I’ve had (and do have) a few girlfriends here and there, but for some reason, on average, I just seem to gel better with men. They’ve always been platonic relationships as well, only twice have I crossed the line, and both turned out to be great relationships, with the most recent being my current three year relationship.

Hmm, I disagree. Ladies know that if a man has it in his heart to be unfaithful, he’s going to do it and it doesn’t matter WHO you bring around. No one “steals” a man, they go because they want to.

Then again, I am also of the belief that there aren’t many “ladies” left anymore, just a bunch of broads, so perhaps your statement has more validity than I initially gave credit for.

I’ll just say for me, it has nothing to do with not wanting other women around. It has to do with me just getting along better with men and having more fun with them.

There nothing wrong with guy friends just as long as they are simply friends, lol.

I’m friends with alot of females and my wife understands this. It may have something to do with the fact that I grew up with 8 sisters, therfore I have a keen understanding of their emotions. My wife would never even think for one moment that they are there for other purposes. She also knows that my two best friends are female. Their names are Betty and Bertha Palm they are sisters and I really appreciate the times that we share together. They are there for me when my wife can’t be. Iv’e known them practically all of my adult life, and they have never let me down. Here’s to you Betty and Bertha Palm (Salute)

This is not just a female issue. I’ve had females friends whom used to be around me whom I’ve called friends and have had crushes on my for years. I haven’t messed with them because I don’t want to lose them as they are or we become different in our personalities toward each other.

They’ve been there throughout some of my relations telling me they are not good enough or that they are using me. When I’ve been hurt they’ve explained to me why I’m hurt and have shown excessive anger saying, “this is why some men become dogs because their puppy love was abused”.

I should take a closer look at these women, especially one that I’m actually developing feeling for but TRYING TO push it into the back of my mind

I can relate 95% of my closest friends are male. They have been the best non-boyfriends I’ve ever dated.

I know that if I was to express interest to go that next level they would bite. But once I’ve place you in the friend category you stay in that box.

They respect me enough not to challenge me on it.

i have 4 best/close friends. 3 are male. i just seem to click better with them. idkw but i share more interest with them since i`m not exactly a girly girl. i wouldn`t ever cross the line though because honestly, i don`t see them like that. the question as to why i`ve been able to keep up these friendships for 5 or so years & haven`t been able to keep a relationship over 4 months . . .? idk, but hey i`m only 19, so i have time. these guys have been placed into the “friendship” box & i`m not bringing them out. lol.

But yeah, I have a number of female friends and we have been that was for many many years. They have been around through thick and thin, they have been there through girlfriends, serious girlfriends, flings and one night stands; just like I have been there for them. Even when I am seeing somebody, if they (my friends) don’t like the girl, it’s a very good chance she won’t be around for long. I value their friendship and trust their opinions and feelings about almost everything. Besides they haven’t been wrong about another female yet!

Yeah, I hear you. I’m back after a 5 month break. I want to raid but I can’t do that hard core stuff. Maybe a couple of nights a week for a few hours.

I probably won’t even do that cause I hate the Lich King expansion and those dungeons are wack as hell.

yeah, I pretty much have the same schedule. Plus I’m not sure how much more of it I can take. Ulduar is not what i had hoped and plus I’m just not excited about it any more.

I have mostly Horde chars, so I rolled Alliance this time to do something different, that made it fun. Prior to that I was playing LOTRO which is fun but there’s no PVP and I need my PVP lol.

I found this article interesting…but u lost me at the end??? I’m not sure what u were asking. But in any case I have a male friend who I’ve known since we were 9. He gets on my nerves sometimes but he is always there for me. We have never been romatically involved and NEVER will be. He is like a brother.
