Gas station surveillance cameras apparently captured the moment one of this week’s two Powerball winners realized he’d won. He reacts just about how you might expect someone who just won nearly $300 million: by freaking out.
Of the two winning tickets for Wednesday’s $587.5 million Powerball jackpot, only one set of winnershas been identified — the Hill family of Missouri. This is, according to witnesses in Maryland, the second winner, captured on security cameras making everyone double-check his ticket. The ticket was bought in Arizona, and it’s not clear how the guy ended up back in Maryland. But with that many people double-checking the ticket? It’s hard to see how he could be wrong.
