**This just in. Your boy Breezy may have to do the better part of a decade in the clink behind all this alleged thuggery:

So why, you ask, was Chris Brown booked for making criminal threats rather than domestic abuse, given the victim — we’re told Rihanna — had “visible injuries”?

Law enforcement sources tell us they typically book a suspect for the most serious crime they can be charged with — it’s then up to the D.A. to file any additional charges.

Given there were allegedly visible injuries, the crime of making criminal threats is punishable by up to nine years in prison. Domestic abuse is four years.

And as we previously stated:

Well, Chris Brown is going round for round with Johnny Law as to exactly what happened the other night as he allegedly gave Rihanna a beatin’ for giving him that Herp-Herp:

TMZ can confirm that Chris Brown just entered an LAPD station, where he turned himself in to police.

Chris is being investigated by the LAPD for an alleged domestic violence felony battery that occurred early this morning near Hancock Park in L.A. Police officials said earlier today they may arrest Brown when they found him. Well, now they know where he is.

According to the female victim — who cops refuse to identify — she and Chris got into an argument which turned violent. Cops say when they arrived to the scene, Brown had split, but the woman had “visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker.”

Brown and his girlfriend Rihanna were together earlier last night, attending Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party — and both canceled their scheduled performances at tonight’s event.

Brown is currently being interviewed by detectives.

SMH.  Get a load of Breezy laying low in the back seat as he is about to enter “the system.”

Classic phrase by the paps: “Chris…what do you think they’re gonna do to you?”   Bastards.

Breezy is back on the streets on 50K bail, which shouldn’t hurt the lil’ money-making machine too much.
