Selita finally addresses her catch fade with another girl over Terrence and the real reason for their break up
Selita Ebanks Talks Dating Nick Cannon And Terrence J
Bangin’ supermodel Selita Ebanks recently stopped by Power 105’s The Breakfast Club to promote her new show “Celebrity Grounds,” and of course, the topic of her dating life came up.
While in the hot seat, Selita dished on being engaged to Nick Cannon, her break up with Terrence J and more in addition to dishing details on her new show. Check out a few excerpts from the interview below.
On her new show:
“Celebrity Grounds” is a new show that I am producing and hosting. We got an NBC distribution deal and now we’re on KickStarter trying to raise a million dollars. We already put in $900,000 of our own money and, we could’ve went the traditional way and got backers but the problem with that is that you don’t own nothing. You know they take full control and you just end up being a face on TV. But we wanna own it, so, why not.
It is a make over show, if you think MTV Cribs meets Home Makeover with a splash of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. So I’m going to go up in all these celebrity houses, dig in their fridge, try on their shoes. It’s just a really fun show we’re putting together and the great thing is that the celebrity will show us a space, their bathroom, kitchen, man cave they want to do over and Contractor Kizer is going to come in and take it to a-whole-nother level.
On dating Nick Cannon:
Yeah, that was a long time ago. You know what, I was very young, he was young. Everything happens for a reason. It taught me a lot, especially with media because….you know, y’all was brutal. I mean I was called everything under the sun just for getting engaged. But I was very young and it was a lesson that I needed to help me develop very thick skin. So now I just don’t give a sh*t.
Sounds like Selita still feels some type of way about the hate she got for getting engaged.
She also addressed the rumored beat down she delivered to a girl who tried to push up on Terrence when they were still together and revealed the real reason(s) why they called it quits. Check that out on the flip.
On the girl she allegedly “beat up” over Terrence J & where she learned to fight:

On break up with Terrence J:
Everything has it’s time and it’s course. He had to move on. He went to LA, he’s doing bigger and better things, E! News doing it big, shout out to him. It was a lot of things. I had to focus more on my acting. We just decided to do our own thing. A lot of times in relationships people tend to put the other person in front of them and they lose focus on what they need to do so I think a little bit of that was happening.
