Florida Man Smashes Head Through Glass For Lottery Tickets

One big headed thief is in a world of pain today….

Orlando police said a thief broke into a downtown Orlando convenience store with his head on Thursday morning.

The robber got away with more than $10,000 worth of scratch-off lottery tickets around 3:45 p.m. at the Sunshine Food Mart on South Orange Avenue.

The store had detailed records of which tickets were lost and contacted lottery offices about the head-aching heist right away.

A Florida lotto employee said the tickets were canceled before the bad guy had a chance to cash in.

“We were really quick. It was before 6 a.m.,” employee Sonny Patel said. “Even before the lottery office was open, we were ready for it.”

It cost store owners $70 to replace the glass in the front door.

Lottery officials said there’s a store on the west side of town that’s been robbed of scratch-off tickets three times.
