Gabourey Sidibe Says Mo’Nique Is Selfish And A Liar
Comedian and actress Mo’Nique has been stirring up the Hollyweird rumor-mill after claiming that ‘Precious’ director and ‘Empire’ co-creator Lee Daniels told her she was blackballed due to her crazy demands.
Lee fired back at Mo and said she was at fault for her status in Hollywood, but she says she’s still getting steady work. Mo’Nique even claimed that she was offered the role as Cookie on his hit Fox TV series. That was later proved to be FALSE.
Now “Precious” co-star Gabourey Sidibe is adding her two cents in the conversation. Right before live-tweeting an episode of ‘Empire’ with the show’s other creator Danny Strong, she sent this subtle shade to Mo’Nique via Twitter:
