Rapper Confirms That Iggy Azalea Uses Ghost Writers
Say it isn’t so! Iggy Azalea has face criticism on her authenticity pretty much since the moment she stepped on the scene, and even more so once Nicki Minaj “no-shaded” her writing skills at the BET Hip Hop Awards last year. The Aussie culture vulture has tried to claim ownership of her tracks, with her mentor TI even swooping in to save the day. But now, one of the men responsible for Iggy’s infamous flow has stepped forward to confirm public suspicion.
While sitting with Sway during a SXSW interview, rapper Skeme all but confirmed that Iggy’s hit Fancy has been putting food on his table and funds in his trust since the moment it became a smash hit. He even gives us insight into where the “Who dat, who dat” line came from. Peep the video around the 4:48 mark.
What? You mean to tell us she didn’t come up with bars like this all on her own?!?!
Shocker.
