“Blood, Sweat & Heels” Starlet Blames Melyssa Ford For Causing Bottle Attack

Geneva Thomas couldn’t resist taking another crack at co-star Melyssa Ford – even as she pled guilty to attacking her.

The “Blood, Sweat & Heels” starlet claimed Ford instigated their infamous brawl on the Hornblower party boat last October, which ended when Thomas cracked Ford over the head with a glass bottle.

In a hearing last week where Thomas pled guilty to assaulting Ford, Thomas’ lawyer, David Bythewood, said one reason why the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office allowed her to take a plea deal was because it was Ford who sparked the fracas.

“It had to do with the fact there was a brawl, and the brawl was caused by the purported victim,” Bythewood said in court April 16. “But my client did go forward, but we are prepared for the plea.”

When Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Lisa Sokoloff asked Thomas if she had indeed “struck an individual named Melyssa Ford with an object causing her to sustain injuries and pain to her head,” Thomas said she did, but she acted in self-defense.

The Judge Sokoloff didn’t seem to care.

“But you did do it, is that correct?” she asked Thomas, who looked composed as she addressed the judge.

Thomas was ordered to complete 10 days of community service, stay away from Ford unless they’re filming and pay $250.

“As part of the show, you can’t say, ‘I’m going to get you, watch out,’” Judge Sokoloff told Thomas. “None of those things are permitted. Do you understand that?”

“Yes,” Thomas responded.
