Tamar Braxton Feuding With Sisters Over Dancing With The Stars

Dang, did they put a hex on her? Tamar Braxton’s health issues forced her to step down from “Dancing With The Stars” just as a report has emerged that the show actually put her at odds with her four sisters — all because sister Towanda has been wanting to do the show for YEARS.

According to DailyMail reports:

‘There has been serious family tension among the sisters for some time. While it has been chronicled on their reality show – it is even worse in real life,’ a source close to the family reveals to Daily Mail Online.

‘It is pretty much all of the sisters versus Tamar at this point and her signing up to do Dancing made their relationship worse.’

At the root of the heightened family feud was Tamar’s decision to do Dancing with the Stars even though Towanda tried to get on the show for the last two years.

The siblings felt as though Tamar’s decision to take an opportunity that Towanda had been working on was disrespectful and believe that’s why she kept the negotiations secret from her family.

‘When they announced on Good Morning America that she was a surprise addition to the cast lineup this season, it was the first her sisters had heard of it.

‘None of them reached out to congratulate her because they were all appalled she would betray Towanda in this way,’ the source tells Daily Mail Online.

During the September 2nd unveiling on GMA, Tamar acknowledged that her family was unaware of her decision to sign on for Season 21.

‘This is the reveal, I haven’t told them yet. I didn’t tell them but I guess they know now,’ she disclosed to co-host Lara Spencer.

Was she wrong not to at least consult with her sisters before accepting the spot? Or are they wrong for not being happy for her?

Apparently — despite her YEARS and YEARS in the spotlight, Toni thinks now that it’s Tamar’s turn she should be more humble…

Despite Toni and Tamar once being extremely close, they’ve become the most strained in the last two years, because Toni feels Tamar has become ‘too competitive’ and ‘very cocky’ with her sisters in particular.

Tamar has dismissed Toni’s feelings as jealousy, says’ the family insider.

‘Tamar kind of rubbed the success of her 2013 album ‘Love and War’ in Toni’s face.

‘It happened during a time when Toni was so frustrated with the music business, she was talking about retiring.

‘Toni felt that Tamar lacked grace and success was making her a monster.

‘It was a bad time for both of them personally,’ explained the source.

Okay so perhaps Tamar is a bit much, but her success has been a long time coming hasn’t it? So who is in the wrong here. Toni? Or Tamar?

Fortunately Tamar has another family to lean on — and she’s using it to her advantage.

An even bigger sign of trouble, was that while she appeared on the show her fellow The Real co-hosts Loni Love, Tamara Mowry-Housley, Adrienne Bailon and Jeannie Mai cheered Tamar on, but her four sisters were absent.

Because of their rift, Tamar didn’t want producers of her hit talk show The Real, that was just renewed for two more seasons, to book any of her sisters on the show.

Not only have Toni and Traci not been on to promote their respective music releases; Tamar also vetoed the idea of Towanda and Traci guest-hosting while Tamar was competing on Dancing with the Stars.

‘She told her producers, she’s not having them and to ‘find some other options,’ the source said.
‘Producers followed her wishes and they’ve booked Tamar’s husband Vincent Hubert, Tamera’s spouse Adam Housley, NeNe Leakes and Maksim Chmerkovskiy instead.’

Is Tamar wrong to shut her sisters out or is she only fighting back the only way she can?
