The controversy over Zoe Saldana being cast as Nina Simone continues to rage on this week after the trailer was released today to a hail of tomatoes and tidal wave of slander.
Zoe Saldana, who wore a fake nose, oversized teeth and NW90 MAC foundation for the role has been blasted by celebrities and fans for taking the role of the iconic dark-skinned singer. It’s pretty damn disrespectful to put an actress in blackface when Hollywood is filled with talented Black women.
