Black Celebs You Didn’t Know Were Republicans
We all know the typical, loud Republicans like Stacey Dash and Ben Carson. But there are some celebrities who hide their conservatism. These Black Republicans don’t put their politics on blast (for the most part). So who are they? And are they voting for Trump? We hope not!
The Rock – He’s been a registered Republican since 2000 even though he’s been doing SNL skits posing as Barack Obama.
Karl Malone – Not only is this Worst Father Ever award recipient a Republican, he’s on the board at the NRA.
Sheryl Underwood – She admitted to as much on The Talk even though she still calls herself progressive.
LL Cool J – He’s never formally declared himself Republican but he’s supported candidates over the years.
Wilt Chamberlain – He was a huge Republican…but this also happened back in the day when the party was somewhat different.
Michelle Obama Plays Football With Kids To Encourage Exercise
Tony Dungy – Dungy has been a frontrunner in race relations in sports so it’s semi-surprising that he’s Republican.
Joseph C. Phillips – Remember him from the Cosby Show? He’s older now and more conservative in his ways.
Charles Barkley – He’s always said that he’d run as a Republican…and had some really conservative thoughts on Ferguson.
Judge Lynn Toler – She’s a republican as well…ironic.
