Property Manager Sued Scrappy For Back Rent

Lil Scrappy is close to being kicked out of his Georgia rental home after a judge signed off on an order allowing the owners of the pad to evict the rapper out after he stopped paying the rent.

According to court records in Dekalb County, Williams Property Group sued Scrappy last November for not paying his $3,000 a month rent on the Stone Mountain, GA property, which he has been living in for some time.

The five bedroom, four bathroom, 3,922 sq. ft. home is worth an estimated $400,000.

Scrappy, who was born Darryl Richardson, never responded to the eviction suit, and on May 9, the Williams Property Group got an application for writ of possession signed off by the judge.

The writ allows the real estate company to have law enforcement evict Scrappy out of the rental home and remove all of his belongings ASAP.

The court document also explains that the rapper has still not paid up on the back rent. The documents do not reveal if Scrappy has been evicted from the home as of yet.

This isn’t the first time the rapper has been hit with a lawsuit over a rental property. Back in January 2015, the same company hit him with an eviction lawsuit but it appeared the two parties worked out their issues because the case didn’t go anywhere.
Scrappy also had a different Georgia home foreclosed on by the bank back in 2010 after he failed to make his payments on the property.

The eviction news hasn’t seemed to bother Scrappy or his fiance and co-star Bambi, who have been flicking it up on social media in a new home.
