Ed Hartwell Sold Million Dollar Mansion So Keshia Knight-Pulliam Couldn’t Claim It
The Ed Hartwell and Keshia Knight-Pulliam divorce drama won’t be ending anytime soon. We recently reported “Heartless” Ed Hartwell wasn’t here for Keshia Knight’s claims that he’s on a mission to stress her into miscarriage of their unborn child.
Now TMZ reports that the former baller sold their home for a huge loss just days after the divorce so she couldn’t profit from it in the proceedings…
We’ve learned Hartwell sold the 6 bedroom, 8,000 square foot home for $690k … he’d had it on and off the market since 2012 before finally selling late last month. Ed originally bought the house for $1.268 mil in 2005 … so he lost around $580k on the property.
The timing of the sale is interesting … Ed owned the home well before he and Keshia got married, so it’s his property regardless. As for why the fire sale … no one’s talking, but you gotta wonder if he’s bracing for lots of legal expenses.
As TMZ reported — the two are currently locked in a bitter court battle … which includes nasty paternity issues and claims of emotional abuse.
