Destiny Odom Says Khloe & Lamar’s Toxic Marriage Strained Their Relationship

We know it’s been a minute since Khloe and Lamar called it quits, but it seems like their everlasting “break-up” is still on the mind of Odom’s teenage daughter Destiny. Lamar’s daughter was around to witness how Kardashian attention aided in her father’s addictions. So much so, she said she gave him an ultimatum.

Lamar Odom’s 17-year-old daughter and her mother Liz spoke to People about his former “whirl wind” of a marriage with Khloe Kardashian and called their union “toxic”. Destiny says her dad is now “more open and apologetic” to his children after being dragged through basically hell for a few years.

“When your dad’s an NBA player that’s already enough, but when he’s marrying a reality TV star, things are so public and you don’t have a private life anymore.”

Destiny says things got even more confusing when Khloe over-stepped and tried “helping” Lamar after his overdose.

“A lot of people in our circle were confused,” Destiny tells PEOPLE. “Their relationship is very toxic.”

She said Khloe’s presence only hindered her father’s recovery, leaving the family with out any privacy.

“There were regular snide comments at school. And when his addiction became public, then it became a social media thing. Even people that I thought were my friends were saying stuff on social media. It was humiliating.”

Sheesh. The teen, who is reportedly taking a gap year now before college, sounds like she happy to just have her dad ‘back’. Destiny says she gave her dad an ultimatum and it hit him really hard, video after the flip.
