#WeLoveYouNicki: Barbz Show Onika Minaj Support After Brother Is Found Guilty In Child Rape
Nicki Minaj Fans Show Support Through Brother’s Rape Conviction
You can only imagine how tough yesterday was for people in the Maraj family after Jelani, the brother of superstar Nicki Minaj was found guilty of raping his (at the time) 10-year-old step daughter. Curious minds are wondering how Nicki feels about her brother’s conviction, but her fans are urging folks to not attack Onika for the horrible things her brother is accused of.
In a show of support, Nicki Minaj fans created the hashtag #WeLoveYouNicki, so that all of the rapper’s accomplishments don’t get muddled in with bad news. So far Nicki hasn’t responded to the outpouring of love, but we’re almost sure she sees it.
Take a look at some of the tweets the Barbs sent to Onika to let her know they’re here for her during tough times.
#WeLoveYouNicki You have made us stronger than you can ever imagine. Your support has strengthened us. We must do the same. We will never leave you. We will always be by you and keep you strong. It is now our turn to return the favor. @NICKIMINAJ

Nicki doesn't deserve this, as a family we have to be by her side right now, forget about the album, the music, the media… focus on Onika, a person like us, she has problems and she has feelings too. Barbz please show her love and support, that's all she needs rn #WeLoveYouNicki pic.twitter.com/b8kVyh4Em1

People need to realize that the barbz are not defending jelani. What he did was absolutely disgusting, who we are defending is nicki. She's completely innocent yet y'all dragging her.— 🌻🌻🌻 (@_MILEON_) November 9, 2017

All @NICKIMINAJ has ever done is stand up for women and people of colour. She does not deserve to be targeted because of her brother’s actions. #WeLoveYouNicki

I’m going to use my 280 characters to talk about how much I love Onika Tanya Maraj . She’s an amazing woman and the greatest female rapper ever. Your fave is yet to be on her level and a few hating men won’t erase her legacy . I love this woman so much and yes #WeLoveYouNicki

The brother of a MASS SHOOTING MURDERER did not get the same level of hate as Nicki Minaj is now receiving from her BROTHER’s wrong doing. This goes to show how ONCE AGAIN black women are the #1 specie under the examination scope! FCK YOU. #WeLoveYouNicki 🖤

His name is Jelani Maraj, not Nicki Minaj's brother. Address him by HIS NAME as you would with anyone else. Stop forcing Nicki's name into a situation she has no association with. Stop disrespecting Nicki over another person's actions.#WeLoveYouNicki

#WeLoveYouNicki nicki gets more hate for her brother being a rapist more than rappers who are actually rapists.

The real tea is…. after all this commotion swindles down… Nicki Minaj will STILL be the most successful female rapper to ever grace this planet. 🤣. Team Minaj will always Reign Here! 🦄✨🙏🏾💝 laugh now, cry later. #WeLoveYouNicki
